The Botanist Foraged Gin Tour began as an idea to explore the city in pursuit of the best gin cocktail. We partnered with five of the most notable mixologists at the top cocktail destinations in Vancouver. Each created unique drinks that showcased different elements of The Botanist Gin, getting our product in the hands of the most influential bartenders and cocktail aficionados in the city.
Five of the top mixologists in the city custom-designed cocktails for the tour. They were provided information on the spirit and the brand philosophy of foraging. Each bartender was encouraged to create cocktails that showcased the best of The Botanist Gin while featuring some of the best locally sourced ingredients including juniper berries taken right from a bush beside Vancouver’s celebrated Keefer Bar. The night of the event we hosted 40 of Vancouver’s elite bartenders and influencers to partake in the experience. As the group descended on each venue they were not only treated to a custom Botanist cocktail, but each venues customers were given the opportunity to partake in the experience and offered the same feature cocktail. What resulted was a living, breathing experiential activation as the group effectively took over each location enveloping the room into a Botanist tasting for the evening. We successfully engaged the influencers and bartending community, who continue to share stories and anecdotes from the evening gaining word-of-mouth traction for the brand.
