The concept for ‘Technically Romantic’ was the result of an idea to engage young, influential male consumers with the Kit + Ace brand. Creating a tailored experience from start to finish with personal concierge hosts, elements were curated to help each of the guests plan out every aspect of their valentine’s day, positioning Kit + Ace as go-to destination for simplicity, thoughtful purchases and customization.
Building on the locality with Kit + Ace Gastown, we partnered with local businesses including Barber & Co, Flower Factory, Lost Boys and numerous neighbourhood restaurants and cocktail bars. Guests were welcomed by a personal concierge host who guided them through the experience, speaking about each product station and the respective brand. After being greeted with a Botanist Gin cocktail, guests were invited to shop the Barber & Co, products, offering cuts night-of and an opportunity to schedule appointments the day before valentine’s day. We offered guests reservation bookings through our concierge that were exclusively available at sold out locations. A flower station was near the women’s foundation line for gift purchases, and each guest received a gift bag with Barber & Co product, a small Botanist Gin with a branded flask, a takeaway cocktail recipe card for the perfect GnT, a handmade Lost Boys card and a checklist for valentine’s day prep.
